Mission Ministry
We believe that the single most important work that God calls us to do in this life, is to be a light - to let others see and know God’s infinite, unconditional love. This mission, this Gospel of Jesus, is both life saving and life affirming. While we believe that one day, there will be an end to pain and suffering, we will not ignore that it exists here, now, in this place. Even as we pray “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven,” we will also do everything that we can to see God’s realm of peace made real, one step at a time. This is our prayer and our call to action. Will you join us in this transformational work?
“‘Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food or thirsty and gave you something to drink? And when was it that we saw you a stranger and welcomed you or naked and gave you clothing? And when was it that we saw you sick or in prison and visited you?’ And the king will answer them, ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it to me.’”
— Matthew 25: 37-40

I was hungry and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me. I was naked and you gave me clothes to wear. I was sick and you took care of me. I was in prison and you visited me.’
“Then those who are righteous will reply to him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you a drink? When did we see you as a stranger and welcome you, or naked and give you clothes to wear? When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’
“Then the king will reply to them, ‘I assure you that when you have done it for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you have done it for me.’”
