Our son loves going to Associated Preschool! The teachers there are terrific! They made us feel super comfortable since the first time we met them. They have a nice calming atmosphere in the classroom, which has large windows for natural lighting. Our son always comes home in a great mood after being there. He has learned so much, from writing his name, counting past 20, writing and recognizing letters of the alphabet, shapes, time management and days of the week. Most importantly though he has made great memories and gained new friends! He can't wait to go there next year!

We have been fortunate to be a part of the Associated Preschool family for three years, entering our fourth. It is a wonderful organization with a fun atmosphere to help form your children’s early years of learning. We couldn't dream of a better preschool for our daughter, and will be sending our son here as well when he gets older. Associated Preschool is filled with caring staff who genuinely want the best for all the kids. We love the routine and structure that is implemented every day, but we also really appreciate the flexibility and the relaxed atmosphere. The staff are creative with their themed weeks and the activities within the weeks. They have helped instill a love for learning in our daughter. We are not only impressed with the growth academically that our daughter has shown, but also the growth she has shown socially. They have guided her to open up with others and build and maintain positive relationships with others. They have helped her become an advocate for herself and others. We are appreciative of the open communication among all staff. They informed us after every class what they worked on and played with that day, and shared pictures of the daily happenings as well. We are forever grateful to Associated Preschool and the staff for all they have done for our daughter and will continue to do for kids in years to come.

We were nervous about sending our son to preschool as he had no prior daycare experience and had developed severe separation and social anxiety. For the first four weeks I watched my son cry as I dropped him off each morning and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t cry too. The teachers at Associated Preschool were utterly amazing at helping both of us adapt – validating his feelings, connecting with him on his level, showing such gratitude when he offered them a drawing he made for them at home, and posting updates for me in real time on the app to give me peace of mind that he was doing alright. They impacted him so much that for the first half of the school year, his teachers were regular characters in our pretend play at home.

This personal connection allowed him to grow academically and socially in ways that continue to amaze me. His teachers were able to get him to do things he wouldn’t do for me at home, ranging from sitting still long enough to complete worksheets and writing activities, to using a scissors with only one hand, to touching and playing with slime, to mastering the jacket flip-trick, and so much more. At the end of the year he left me flabbergasted by spontaneous pointing and announcing “that’s a pattern!” On the very last day of school, his teacher told me he was running around playing with all the other kids and talking up a storm – a far cry from the little boy who was practically silent around his classmates at the beginning of the year.

We are so blessed to have been part of the Associated Preschool family this year. With his teachers’ guidance, our son has officially transformed from a toddler into a little boy. We could not have asked for a better first school experience for our family.
