What’s Behind the Headlines?

Dr. Sarah Ruble of Gustavus Adolphus College was invited as the guest speaker for the second Community Conversations forum hosted by Associated Church on October 12, 2023. The evening was presented in partnership with The Alliance for Greater Equity and Rainbowatonna. Professor Ruble gave a presentation exploring the ways historians think about the ideas of race and racism, and how these issues have impacted legislation and education in the United States.

Dr. Ruble is a professor of religion, theology, and history at Gustavus Adolphus College, specializing in the intersections of Christianity and culture. She also serves as Associate Provost and Dean of Academic Programs and Accreditation.
